A Town Plan of Tudor London 1593

by John Norden and engraved by Peter Van Den Keere

The river Thames and the properties surrounding it, running from Lambeth through to Smithfield. It's interesting to note that there was only one bridge over the River Thames at this time. A gazetteer runs down either side noting points of interest. Fascinating side panels detail the coates of arms of the various trades of the times including Grocers, Drapers, Skinners, Salters and Cloth Workers.
